This Syrah is a cool-climate expression from South Africa's Walker Bay region. Following the same philosophy as our Journey to the Centre of the Universe Blanc Fumé, it's a blend of three exceptional vineyards, each contributing its own unique soil and climate character.
 
Crafted with 15% whole bunch and wild fermented, this wine underwent extended maceration, resulting in wonderfully soft, luscious tannins and deep, dark fruit flavors. It has a characteristic fynbos backdrop and was matured for 11 months in older 225L French oak barrels before bottling.
 
Made with no added sulfur, this elegant Syrah was awarded 92 points by Neal Martin.
